This mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing 2-3ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time the tide was still too low for Airports or Kuta Reef and the wind light on shore out of the WNW.

But as it shows in today’s photos we still took a run up the coast here a little ways (West Side) to see if we could find a few un crowded waves. Wave height was pushing the 4ft class on the bigger set waves with surfing conditions still clean enough. Crowd wise the right hander had the usual hungry crew but the beach break waves were empty and our choice.

Weather wise yesterday we did get some storm fronts moving through our area but moving through fast. By late morning the sun was powering through and we all ended up a little sun burned.

Today the 23rd and our 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban still showing that 2-2ft+ of wave height breaking from Kuta Reef through to Airport Left. Surfing conditions were very ordinary at the time with the wind coming hard out of the West at 10knot.

Weather wise this morning we have a mostly overcast sky and there has been a drop or two of rain so far. Right now at 8.15AM the mercury is a warm 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 91%.
