Hey folks and thanks for taking the time out to drop into the baliwaves.com (pumping out the Bali surf reports since 1999) for the latest news and best views from all over the place. Right here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.

As it shows in today’s 35 strong photo gallery yesterday we were out on the wave hunt trying to avoid the crowds at the usual locations. And we didn’t too bad finding this nice little left and right hand break with only 12 surfers in the water and later only my crew and 3 others to finish off the session. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with off shore wind through until midday when the South – South Wester started blowing up.

Weather wise it was where we were very hot and sunburny out of the shade of the warungs through the morning. Then a few drops of rain on the drive back to Home Base.

This morning the 8th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing only some wind driven 1 footers mushing onto the reef from Kuta Reef down to Airport Left. Wind direction is coming out of the West at 10 – 14knot.

The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.2mtr High around 12 noon. (we are currently working on our 2015 tide charts, big job)

Weather wise there’s been some light cloud move in on us here in Tuban this morning but still some patches of blue up there. Anyway it’s still going to be shorts and t-shirt weather no matter what happens right.

Yesterday while the Aussie dollar was getting Rp10,050 on the streets of Bali I used my Aussie banks (Commonwealth Bank) ATM and pulled out Rp5,000,000. which on the street would have exchanged for LESS than AU$500.00 but on my statement it ended up costing me AU$528.00 at this banks exchange rate. That’s a nice dinner and cold beers right there, Cash Rules !!!
