Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the place most sane surfers would much rather be, BALI.

Yesterday most of you would already know what went down through our Twitter and Instagram feeds through out the morning. But for those of you who are not yet following us this is what went down (check the photos). We arrived at Krupuk Pt around 8.30AM to find wave height breaking in the 2-3ft range with clean and glassy surfing conditions.

The tide was just starting to run in and while we were having a cuppa it wasn’t long and there were 3-4 footers starting to show, but still not super consistent. By 10.30AM our new swell was finally starting to kick in and delivering some double over head set waves and consistent head to over head high waves.

Weather wise it was just another hot and sunny day in Indonesia.

This morning the 26th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some clean and tidy waves. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was breaking in the waist to over head high range (2-4ft). The tide was still running out at the time so Middle Reef was the go. And I do have to say Middle’s was peeling off perfectly with 6 or so surfers already out there enjoying it.

The next tide today here in Bali will be a 1.2mtr Low @ 9.00AM, which tells me we are in around the middle of the moon phase. The next phase will be a Full Moon on the 3rd of May.

Weather wise outside today we have a mostly overcast morning that will more than likely turn into another hot and sunny beach day by late morning. Temperature wise now at 8.45AM we have 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 90%. Wind direction was coming out of the NE @ 2-3knot.
