Ok so yesterday the 26th our surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height in the 2-3ft range between Kuta reef and Airport left. Pretty much the same as it was the previous day when we had a nice bump in size. So we decided to take a run down to Balangan.
Arriving just on the bottom of the 1.2mtr Low tide to see a couple of 3 footers peeling off and only 5 surfers in the water. That was checking it out from above up in the car park, by the time we got down to sea level it was looking a lot smaller. But Balangan beach is the place where you can hang out even if there’s not a lot happening wave wise. As the tide came off the bottom we did see a few more 2-2ft waves starting to show so it was out there to get wet. There wasn’t too many more head high waves coming through but surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind blowing straight off shore and plenty of pretty girls out getting wet as well.

Weather wise yesterday there was a few clouds coming and going but over all it was just another hot and sunny day in Bali.
This morning the 27th I haven’t made it down for a surf check yet but right now at 7.30AM the temperature is already on 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is on 92%. There were a few clouds about earlier but plenty of blue sky now showing to the SE. Wind direction is coming out of the East 1knot.
Ok crew we will be hitting the road shortly to go find some waves so stay tuned to the baliwaves via our Twitter and Instagram feeds.
Travel Tip; I’ve seen a lot of airline damaged surf boards this year coming from all points of the globe, and that’s the last thing you want to find when you un pack your boards. So make sure you pack them up nice and secure cause those airlines don’t give a shit about your shooters.
