BALI
16th May 2015
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (The original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for our latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday island that’s got something for everyone, Bali.
Ok so to kick off today’s report here’s 72 photos that we shot down at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. As I mentioned in yesterdays report there was some fun sized waves breaking all 3 of the main sections at Ulu, from Temple’s to the Main Peak and even a few peeling down the Racetrack on the lower end of the tide.
This mornings 7.00AM surf check (re Twitter @baliwaves) on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave breaking in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The wind was clean off shore but I don’t think there would have been too much breaking as the tide filled in.
We made our way back down to Uluwatu again this morning but it was pretty small with only 1-3ft waves, with the bigger set waves a little bit too inconsistent. But not too bad when they did come through. Crowd wise numbers were down on yesterday which also helped out a little bit.
Drive by surf check on Impossible’s on the way home was showing some waist to waist high plus waves peeling down the reef with a stiff off shore wind blowing into it.
Weather wise there was a some cloud hanging around early this morning but other than that it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island.

Hi Slim,
I’ m coming from Singapore on the WE of 6/7/8 June, arriving with Air Asia on Friday 5th at night (close to midnight). My flight back to Singapore is at 620am on June 9. Do you think it is feasible to go to G-Land for such a short trip. How could it work?
Thanks in advance for your advices.
Cheers,
Sebastien
