QUIKSILVER CANGGU CHALLENGE

Hi folks so yesterday while I was catching up on some R&R out at Middle Reef with a couple of friends I had Ketut and our 600mm lens up at Canggu to cover day 1 of the Quiksilver Canggu Challenge event.

As it shows in Ketut’s photos there were some very nice waves coming through for the first day of 2 at Canggu. With so many entries for this prestigious event organized by Quiksilver they decided to run 2 different divisions at the same time which is a first for any contest at Canggu and maybe even Bali and Indonesia in general. But with the perfect set up at Canggu they pulled it off without a hitch

Anyway here’s the first installment of photos (118) and there’s still another 200 or so from yesterday to get edited and loaded up for ya’s. But in the mean time Ketut is right now in transit back to Canggu for Day 2 of the Quiksilver Canggu Challenge and as soon as I get some stuff done on the computer this morning I’ll be heading up there with our 1000mm lens to capture some of the final heats of the event.
