BIG SUNDAY (part 2)
Ok as promised we have delivered the second past of our photographic efforts from yesterday’s mega swell that smacked into the Southern end of Bali Indonesia. These last 120 or so photos again feature some of the best tube riding from our local Indonesian surfers and not too mention some giant waves breaking at Uluwatu. I tell ya cliff space vantage points at both Ulu and Padang Padang were at a premium with 1000’s of spectators cheering on the wave warriors with every set wave that came through. Incredible atmosphere like a State of Origin or maybe even the Super Bowl match. A big thanks to Ketut our lens man for hanging onto our damn heavy old manual focus 600mm and DSLR for the duration.
Ok it’s time to go wave hunting again this morning and looking at our Impossible’s Web Cam it does appear that wave height is now on the downside from the weekend.
Editors note; I’ve been up since 3.00AM getting these photos edited and on line for ya’s so if you see a bleary eyed Slim around today take it easy on him bahahahaha.
