Hey surfers and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (The original and only baliwaves Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok my Indo loving friends here’s another 118 photos that we shot today here on Bali’s West Coast at Funggu. We arrived around the 8.00AM mark to find some solid waves hitting all 3 of the main sections in the head to almost double head high range. In fact there were a few freakies hitting the right hander in the double head high mark. Surfing conditions were clean as a whistle with the wind light off shore through until 9.00Am when the SE Trade wind kicked in and slowing built up it’s momentum.
Our afternoon surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban at 5.45PM was looking like wave height was definitely on the downward spiral with only 2-3ft waves and maybe the odd over head freak set hitting Middle Reef. The tide was pretty much exposed with the afternoon 0.2mtr Low from today’s Full Moon. So get ready for some big tidal ranges over the next few days.
Weather wise this morning there was some cloud cover before the sun started dominating the sky by late morning. Temperature wise the mid day temperature would have easily busted into the 30’s on the Celsius scale.
