BALI / INDONESIA
17th September 2015
Hi surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo tropical surfing holiday since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane place to come surfing, Bali.
Ok so this mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing some fun sized waves in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean enough with the wind light and variable at the time, tide on the bottomg of the Low.
So for something different we took a run a little ways up the coast to Canggu. Arriving around 7.45AM to find wave height also in the that 2-4ft range and breaking on all 3 sections. It was still a bit shallow on the river mouth but there were surfers on it within the hour. I’s have to say the lefts on the Sand bar section were breaking the best this morning. Surfing conditions stayed clean and tidy until the SE cross shore Trade wind started to kick in around 9.45AM.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island with a few clouds drifting through from time to time. Temperature wise right now at 4.30PM the mercury is still sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 79%. Wind direction is coming hard outta the SE at 15knot.
I’ve also thrown in a couple of frames from this morning down at Impossibles thanks to our free to view Web Cam.
Hey and checking the long range swell predictions things are certainly looking good for more pumping waves here in Indonesia over the next 7 days, at least !
