BALI / INDONESIA
25th – 26th September 2015
Hello surfers and thanks a million for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surfing mission since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place where you’d most likely want to be right now, Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 25th as I mentioned on the 24th Ketut and I pushed our old traditional Balinese fishing boat (jukung) into the water and spent the day out trolling and casting lures and had a top day out on the water. As soon as I get this on line for ya’s I’ll be getting the BBQ (Bali style) glowing and cracking a bintang with our guests here at home. I’ve also thrown in a few fishing photos at the end of today’s photo gallery. So if your keen for a great doay out and something a little different then contact us here at baliwaves and we’ll get ya out there.
Today the 26th (Happy Birthday Lily Haliday) and after our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was pretty well showing it to be flat. That was between Kuta Reef and Airport Left so we had no other options or ace’s up our sleeve other that to head down to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu.
We arrived around 8.30AM to find wave height even down at Ulu was also only in the 1-2ft range with a couple of very few and far between head high freak sets. Surfing conditions were perfect with a fresh off shore SE’r and the water was as clear as it can be.
Weather wise it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the “island of Gods” and what else would you want on your holiday.
Ok friends that’s me cause the BBQ won’t wait, drop by if your in the area for a feed and a beer.
