Hi surfers and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves (doing what we do best for Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for  your hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.

I didn’t get time for my morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban today. I did know there wasn’t going to be a helluva lotta swell happening and that the wind was going to be light and variable for the early morning session. So as it shows in today’s Friday arvo photo gallery my team and myself slipped into Canggu just after 6.00AM trying to find a zombie free surf window.

Arriving just after 6.00AM to find some very clean and tidy little 2-3ft+ waves (waist to slight over head on the freakies) with a clean off shore wind. Not too bad we thought, and there were only a hand full of surfers in the water so things were looking good. But.. we wouldn’t have been in the water for more than 20mins before the numbers jumped dramatically. Hey and what’s with all the kids in the water, don’t any of them want to got to school and get a decent job anymore or are they all thinking they are good enough to be pro surfers or something, bahahahaha. Anyway I still had a ball surfing at Canggu this morning and it was good to see a few of the local boys hit the water and show everyone how it’s done.

Weather wise it was a bit cool and I coulda done with a wetsuit on early this morning. But once the sun busted out it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island.
