Ok so we were up early again this morning and didn’t get to do a surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban, except for a brief glance as we went past Kuta Beach. And as we knew it would, it didn’t look good. With only a ripple of white water showing between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.

We were on our way back up to Funggu here on Bali’s West Coast, like I said we knew it was going to be small but we also knew it would be fun and sure as hell beat the hell outta working any day. We pulled up at 6.30AM to find wave height in the waist high range with chest high set waves and a very very occasional head high freak set. Seeing as though the tide was low all the action was focused on the sand bar left hander and there was already maybe 20 surfers in the water. This place kinda reminds me of “never never land” from Peter Pan, because the ex pat kids from the area seem to never never go to school, bahahaha. Any way even so there was some fun little waves coming through up there this morning and some hot surfing going down.

Weather wise here on the West side of Bali it’s been a typical hot and sunny day, and what else would you be expecting here in Bali. Right now at 2.50PM the outside temperature is still cranking on 33 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 78%. Wind direction is now coming out of the SSW at 5-9knot and has been since around 9.00AM.
