Hello everyone and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves (Bali’s original surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.

Ok so we have been covering more miles to score more waves and get you guys plenty of variety instead of the same old same old ok. Today’s photo gallery covers both coasts from West to East due to light and variable morning wind that we have had of lately, before it comes to an end and we have to surf over on the East side.

Today’s first surf check was on the Outer Reefs of Tuban and wave height was showing a nice little bump in size with 2-3ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light out of the NNW. And at 6.30AM there were already surfers in the water on all 3 of the main sections and I imagine there might have even been a few breaking on Airport Rights.

From there we headed for Keramas, hoping for low numbers in the water.. heh heh. Not to be, Keramas main break was showing in the 2-3ft class with maybe the off bigger freak set but already 30+ surfers in the water as the tide was filling in. Surfing conditions were good as gold with the wind blowing lightly off shore.

Then we made a stop at Krupuk Pt for a quick look and there were a few waves breaking in the 2-4ft class and surfing conditions were also clean as a whistle, 15 surfers in the water there.

Weather wise it’s been mainly just a hot and sunny day here on Bali’s West Coast. Light wind through the early morning before dedicating to the South mid to late morning. Right now at 6.15PM it is still coming outta the South at 9 – 10mph.

While I’m still here I better remind you new crew that’ll be coming to Bali about sun protection while your out surfing. Especially if your fair skinned and not used to the harsh tropical sun. Keep that sun screen and zinc cream on thick and don’t stay out in the water for too long until you start to get some color. I’ve seen some terrible sun burned victoms of late that have really no one to blame but their silly selves.

And while your at it make sure you drink at least a couple of litres of water everyday, that’s at least. So skip the soft drink and have a bottle of water and you’ll really be doing yourself a favor.
