Ok so yesterday the 15th we were looking for some un crowded options and sometimes you have to take a gamble right. So with an early morning solid storm brewing here on the West Coast of Bali we thought we’d take a run down to Balangan on the southern end of the island for the small chance that after the storm we’d score some clean surfing conditions. And it almost paid off, Balangan had 2-4ft waves breaking with a light on shore wind, it was kinds glassy but the waves were not quite lining up properly,  worth a chance anyway.

So from there we bee lined it back over to the East Coast to somewhere I knew would be handling this wind a little better. Arriving at our new destination by 8.45AM to find wave height in the 2-4ft class with the wind all but blowing off shore with only 20 or so surfers in the water. The tide was filling in and with the tide also came more surfers but we still managed to score some waves and have some fun.

Weather wise it was a mainly over cast day with early morning rain then clearing up for a hot and sunny afternoon here on the holiday island.

This morning the 16th and it’s just gone 4.55AM and we will soon be back out there on the dawn patrol wave hunt looking for more un crowded waves and clean conditions. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more up dates through our Twitter and Instagram feeds through out the morning.
