Hello peeps and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the place we would all rather be, Bali.
Ok so here’s another batch of photos that Ketut shot here on Bali’s West Coast yesterday. As it shows wave height was pretty much in the 2-3ft range with the occassional bigger freat set hitting the Sand Bar and River mouth sections.Consistent fun sized waves to help sooth the surfers waiting for one.
Weather wise it was another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island
This morning the 31st, and wow there goes another month already. So far around this part of the island we could hardly say we have had a typical wet season, and now we are all but heading into April and practically time for the season to swing back to the dry again.
Our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height in the 1-2ft range between Kuta reef and Airport Left. With the tide on the bottom of the Low Middle Reef was the only option and there were a couple of waist to chest high waves for the those who needed them. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with no wind at the time.
Ketut has called through from where he is this morning calling waist to head high waves, light off shore wind and plenty of surfers in the water. So we should have some more photos for ya’s later on.
Weather wise outside right now at 9.40AM the temperature is on 33 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 69%. Wind direction is coming lightly out of the ENE.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 1.9mtr High just after 2.00PM
It also looks like we will have to put up with these small waves for a couple more days then we should (fingers crossed) see some new swell smacking into our reefs and beaches, so stay tuned.
