Hi surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (Keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Ok crew so just to get the ball rolling here’s over 100 photos that we have shot from the East Coast on the 16th at Serangan with some nice sized 3-5 footers that were A framing up nicely. As it shows surfing conditions were pretty perfect and so were most of the waves that were pumping through. Crowd wise it was pretty low through the early morning and then starting to get a Little bit busier by mid / late morning.
Yesterday the 17th and we were up early again and back over to the East Coast but this time we though we’d check Keramas first. AS it shows in the second half of our photo gallery there were some super clean little waves breaking on the main break of Keramas with an unusually light crowd, we must have just flooked.
This morning the 18th and this time the boys and I were up and on the road chasing waves before 5.00AM. We drove non stop to Balian know that that would be where we would be finding the biggest sized waves in these current small conditions we had today. Not too mention that the crowd at Balian peaked at 25 surfers but was mostly an averge of 10 – 12 in the line up. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with an early morning light off shore breeze. It wasn’t till around 10.00AM that the wind started to shift towards the WSW.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day here on the West Coast of Bali. Temperature wise right now at 4.40PM the temperature is still a warm 32 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 69%. Wind direction is SW at 6-10knot.
