Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bali’s original surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.

Yeah that’s right, who wants to surf with a crowd of agro wankers, not me and not my crew that’s a certainty. That’s why we are always surfing different locations all over Bali. That’s what ya gotta do right to get good waves, and get away from the crowds. Not just surf the same old same old waves everyday.

So here’s 70 odd new photos that we shot over the last 2 days with well over 100km’s between the two different locations on two different coast lines of Bali. The bulk of this gallery were shot way up the West Coast at Medewi and we were stoked to score 4-6ft waves peeling off for up to 400mtrs. Crowd wise there were roughly 20 surfers in the line up and 75% of them were just bobbing around. That’s what I’m talking about right there.

The second half of the photos were shot over on the East Coast yesterday morning. We never arrived until around 8.00AM, pulling up to find 3-5ft A frame waves peeling off left and right with only 6 surfers in the water. Surfing conditions as it shows were clean and glassy with the wind at first a light NW before turning WSW around 11.00AM.

Today the 8th and Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mum’s I guess there’s not too many Mum’s surfing as they are looking after their families, but we all need Mum’s right. I really don’t care what the surf is doing today folks I’ve been at the beach everyday for months on end now and finally going to spend a day at home with my family. But hey this is Bali and you know it’s going to be cranking out there somewhere right, so go get it ?

Weather wise, Sunday equals sun shine in Bali.

NB: On another note doing yoga is fine, surfers always called this stretching or training, not yoga. Yoga was always for hippies (not hipsters) back in the day. Do your stretching, I mean yoga at home not on the beach. Don’t make lifestyle surfers have to suffer seeing it bahahahahaha just joking right.
