Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.

This mornings mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to be still holding in the 2-4ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left and Right. Surfing conditions were clean with the wind at the time light out of the NE. That was before it started raining cats and dogs.

But as it shows in today’s photo gallery we hung out until the weather cleaned up and the tide ran out, before heading to the Racetrack to check the form. It was an easy choice to head back down to Uluwatu after yesterdays waves and pretty much the same conditions again on the 13th. The Racetrack was pumping through long and hollow tube rides, unfortunately with the sun setting we couldn’t shoot the top end and there was some searing surfing going down on by local surfers Made Lana and Alik Rudiarta

I’ve also had reports from Canggu saying that there was a little bit too much water moving and with the wind blowing hard cross / on shore at 10.00AM
The news from Keramas was calling wave height at 1-3ft with the wind also no good over on the East coast of Bali.

Weather wise we got off to a very wet start with some heavy rain blanketing the southern half of the island. This lasted through till around 9.30AM before we started to see some sunny breaks. Right now @ 5.00PM the mercury is riding at 32 degree’s Celsius and the wind coming fresh out of the SSE at 10 – 12knot.
