Ok firstly I want to give a huge thanks to the 28 baliwaves supporters who chipped in for our new camera campaign helping us to raise AU$1,405.00 This is almost enough to get us 1 new camera body but we were also hoping to be able to buy a new lens as well. So with some of the stuff we still have left over we are hoping to get enough to reach our goals by raffling off 2 new surf boards, a 7 day stay with baliwaves.com including daily surf trips etc, plus a 7 day stay in a private villa in Balian. This is for starters and I’m hoping to get more prizes as we go.

This mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off into the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Lefts. The tide was still running in at the time and the wind light out of the N – NW. I guess it would have pulsed a little more with maybe some 4 foot sets hitting Middles as the tide kept pushing up.
But with the wind the way it was I had Ketut take another run back up to Canggu here on Bali’s West side. As it shows surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind hitting it just right. Canggu is such a good location to photograph and surf with lefts and rights and now with plenty of shade from all the new warungs built along the shore. The only problem is that some days, well most days this place does get pretty crowded and some times tempers flare.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day with the clouds and rain filling in this afternoon. Right now it’s raining cats and dogs but certainly has cooled things down.
Ok I’ve been typing emails most of the day and just about cleared my in box, so please hang in there if your waiting on a reply from Slim as I will have it beat by tomorrow. Thanks again for tuning in to the original and only baliwaves and see ya’s again tomorrow ok.
Hey an I just got a heads up from the big chief at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp and he has told me to tell you that if anyone wants to make an early booking for G-land in 2017 he will give you 3 DAYS FREE STAY. Say hello to Dr Ding Uddin for me, we saw you at the Bedrock in October at some ungodly hour, & then saw you out in the water at Medawi. Big day that one, especially for an old fart like me. That item you did the other day on the life around Bali was great too.

The GU great surf l surfed the stairs but it’s just to cool out there now. It makes me wonder how you can be so cool but have no tongue no manners and no fucking style O and have no idea about rules what rules just burn everybody because lm so cool straight lining. Don’t forget the repair kit. Great work to slim and the crew keep it up
