Hello friends and thanks for tuning again to the baliwaves. Hey and how about showing some love and take a look at the flashing banner over to the right of this. We are hoping to raise some so we can get some new camera equipment and helping you save some money at the same time. We’ve been doing our part here at baliwaves since ’99 bringing you a little bit of Bali each day, so show some love if you can.

Well with just around 2 weeks of this 8 week campaign left to run we have managed to scrape up just over AU$700.00 from our target of AU$6,000.00 I’d like to give the 12 – 13 people out of our average 100,000 viewers per month who did show some love a huge thank you.

Ok as it shows in today’s photo gallery after doing my morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban and only finding wave height in the 1-2ft range. We decided to take a run up to Canggu here on Bali’s West Coast hoping to find a little more energy. Arriving at 7.30AM to also only see 1-2ft+ waves with a clean off shore wind/But as soon as the tide topped and started to run back out we did see some bigger set waves with more consistency. We actually hung out for two sessions before the wind started to increase in strength out of the S-SSE.

Weather wise it was pretty hot yesterday morning before the cloud started to roll in after lunch delivering some heavy rain through the evening and into the night.

This morning the 13th and now at 7.00AM we have a mostly grey and rainy looking morning but no rain has come down here in Tuban as yet. It looks like the wind is light out of the ESE – SE so far and fingers crossed we will still have a few waves happening for us somewhere. The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.2mtr High just before 9.00AM with the Full Moon rising on the 14th.
