Alright well I am hoping everyone has made it through another Christmas, now all we gotta do is get through the New Year’s celebrations and we can start to get some kinda normality happening again. In the mean time yesterday the 26th I took a run over to the East coast to see what was going down. There wasn’t a lot of options available with the wind coming out of the WSW, but we still managed to find some action.

The charts were calling for a bump in wave height and I was happy at first to see some 3-5ft waves. But as the tide kept dropping wave height kept growing with some 6-10 foot freak sets rolling through every now and again. Surfing conditions were challenging enough as it was but the 15 – 20knt WSW wind was also putting some heavy chop on the faces to go with it.

Weather wise it was mainly over cast with some searingly hot sunny patches included. The wind was strong W-WSW just about all day long.

Today the 28th and Ketut is back on board with us again and has taken a run up to Keramas on Bali’s East side to see what’s going down wave wise. He did break radio silence a little while ago calling in 4-5 footers, 20 surfers and a Westerly wind that’s probably hitting it cross shore. Not sure as I can’t get back hold of him for now.

Weather wise outside this morning the 28th and it’s another light over cast morning with the wind earlier coming out of the WNW but since has dedicated more to the West and will more than likely increase in strength through out the morning.
