BALI / INDONESIA
26th January 2017
G’Day everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves, (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
First off I better wish all my mates in Australia a big Happy Australia Day !!!
Secondly I think we have hit the ticket limit and just about ready to get the draw happening. Give me a couple more days to confirm the last tickets.
Surf wise this morning we were up reasonably early and on the road by around 5.40AM. We were heading to somewhere here on the West Coast but had to do a u-turn once we realized the wind was all wrong out of the WNW. As it shows in today’s photo gallery our secondary back up location delivered some very nice waves with a clean off shore wind. Crowd wise at 6.15AM there might have been around 15 surfers in the water. But by 8.00AM there was an overload of learners on big volume surfboards. I’d say there would have been some good waves happening all over the East Coast today.
Weather wise it was mostly over cast this morning with a couple of drops of rain but that’s about all. Temperature wise the mercury hit 33 degree’s Celsius. Early morning NW – WNW wind before turning W – WSW around 10.30AM.
Ok we’ll be back out surfing again tomorrow so stay tuned to the baliwaves if your not already over here and getting some of these waves.
Hey mate, there is couple of sick photos of me and my son on this for 26th. How do I go about getting them and If anymore of us?
