Rightio, here’s another collection of photos that we shot over the last 2 days and all from here on Bali’s West Coast. On the 22nd we headed back up the coast hoping to catch conditions just right. Arriving on the scene at 6.30AM to find chest to slightly over head waves with a clean off shore wind and only one other surfer in the water. So pretty much for the next 2 hours we were sharing waves that were sometimes peeling off for a good 150 – 200mtrs. It was good to catch up with our friends from Medewi Boardriders who had their juniors down the beach for an early morning clean up.

Yesterday the 23rd with the early morning wind again light out of the NW we thought we’d scrifice clean off shore wind and crowds on the East Coast for some un crowded waves here on the West side. Wave height was  pretty much the same size as the day before at 2-4ft with the wind cross / on shore. Maybe 10 surfers in total while we were on location.

Weather wise it’s been mainly hot and sunny with some early morning rain.

Today the 24th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off into the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Wind direction at the time was NW-WNW at 2-4knot.

Right now at 4.10PM the outside temperature is on 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 72%. Wind direction is now 7-10knot out of the WSW.
