Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (Bali’s leading surf report website since 1999) for our latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.

Well as you have probably guessed, seeing as there hasn’t been any new and cranking surf photos loaded up on the baliwaves. There can only really only be one reason and that my friends is a severe lack of material here on the holiday island at the moment. Yesterday the 5th wave height was at most locations only in the 1-2ft range with maybe a 2ft+ freak set hear and there. Today was no different again with wave height on in the 1-2ft class. Nice shaped waves but just too small and too crowded with all the learners taking advantage of the easy conditions. Wind wise this wind is still blowing hard out of the W-WSW and hasn’t let up all day here on the Southern end of the island.

Tomorrow’s forecast is looking a little similar today only that the Westerly wind may be even a little stronger. So things are tough here at the moment mainly due to a would be Cyclone that has been spinning down off NW Australia. Hopefully it will spin out and leave us alone soon, but until then hang onto your hats.

Weather wise at least the sun has been making some appearances over the last 2 days. Right now at 5.00PM the wind is still blowing hard out of the W-WSW and the temperature is on 27 degree’s Celsius, overcast.

We have made the draw for all concerned and I’m sure the winners are going to be grinners. Thanks for everyone who chipped in and it won’t be long and we will be using some new camera equipment as well.

Oh yeah and the other day I mentioned the new traffic conditions around Kuta. Well for once it works totally in our favor here in Southern Tuban with the traffic flowing perfectly. But it doesn’t look so good for people living / staying in Jalan Kartika Plaza and other spots with the new “one way” set up.
