Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.

Yesterday the 10th and we made a special trip up the coast hoping to find some nice long waves up in the Jembrana region of Bali’s West Coast. But  arriving to find to much water washing through the line up and set waves breaking way too far out and way too wide to make it surfable. A few surfers did paddle out but only too deal with a current that was so highly visible from the shore. So we never got to get our feet wet.

This morning the 11th and we played it safe and just took another run back over to the East Coast of Bali. Today’s photos actually make the waves look a lot better than what they were actually like. The set waves today and most waves for that matter were shutting down quite a bit with set waves pushing the triple head high range. There was only around a dozen surfers in the water while we were on the scene and the wind was fresh cross shore out of the North. Probably better waves some where else ?

Weather wise it’s been another warm to hot over cast type of day here on the holiday island with over night rain cooling things down nicely.
