BALI / INDONESIA
7th – 8th March 2017
Hello everyone and thanks for calling through the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok peeps yesterday the 6th and we were still running around chasing our tails paying bills and getting everything up to date again. Plus the fact that wave height was also pretty small sealed the deal. Today the 8th and
seeing as though we got so much done yesterday I got Ketut to take a run over to the East Coast this morning to see exactly just what was going down.
As it shows in this current photo gallery wave height was still only in that 2-2ft+ range. But surfing conditions were clean and tidy this morning while Ketut was on the scene for a couple of hours. Crowd wise I thought there would have been more in the water but Ketut said there were between 20 – 25 surfers in the water.
We also took a surf check on the Outer Reefs on Tuban this morning but it wasn’t looking real good with only 1-2ft waves with a fresh Westerly wind blowing it out.
Our free to view baliwaves Impossible’s web cam was also only showing 1-2ft+ waves down there this morning. Our camera is located over looking Bingin and Impossible’s at the serenity of the “Suara Ombak” bungalows. This place has to have one of the best views down on Bali’s West Coast / Bukit.
Now don’t say baliwaves isn’t looking after you boys and girls, I’m just in the process with some friends at location non other than “The Bay” on the island of NIAS in North Sumatra. This is going to mean more surf reports and more photos of one of the most perfect right hand waves and insane location set ups in the World. I should have a little teaser for you peeps very very soon, so stick around a bit.
Weather wise it’s been a a very warm and mostly cloudy day here on the holiday island. Right now at 4.20PM the temperature is still a warm 32 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 77%. Wind direction is coming out of the W-WSW at 10 – 15knot.
