BALI / INDONESIA
25th – 26th May
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather co0nditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok so as I mentioned in yesterdays surf report I’ve finally got another solid action packed photo gallery ready for ya’ll. These photos were shot here on Bali’s West coast up at the alwats in season popular location of Canggu. People always say Canggu is too crowded but if you have a smile on yopur face and little bit of patience you can always make a new friend and score a wave or two here in Bali.
Weather wise it’s been very hot with some strong ESE – SE off shore Trade Wind blowing up to 20knot+ the last couple of days. Right now at 1.50PM the mercury is sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius.
Today the 26th and re Twitter my early morning surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was showing a solid bump in wave height with head to double head high waves showing between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were at their best with the Trade wind only just starting to wind up with clean off shore wind. There was no shortage of surfers on Kuta Reef but Middle Reef and Airports were looking better anyway.
Weather wise, as above.
I’ve also loaded a new surf report from Joyo’s G-Land Surf Canp and from our friends up at Nias at KabuNohi Saroke Resort so make sure you check them out. Apparently there are hardly any surfers up at Nias and could be a good time to head up that way.
I’ve also done a quick promo for Indonesian Explorer’s Mike and Bill Boyum who opened up Bali and G-Land for us later day surfers so make sure you check that out down in our news feed. Make sure you get your copy of this book, if your an Indo nut you’ll love it.
