A very good day to everyone tuning into the baliwaves (Bali’s original and still No.1 surf report website since back in 1999). For our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.

Alright then lets get it on, here’s 90 photos that we smashed off down at Indonesia’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu yesterday. As it shows wave height at Ulu was mainly in the head to over head class with a few bigger freak double over head high set waves. Good clean surfing conditions with the SE Trade Wind providing off shore wind and plenty of local talent in the water putting on a good show for our camera. The Main Peak down through the Racetrack had the best waves on offer and plenty of tube riding going down.

Weather wise it was mostly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island and what else would you want while on holiday right.

This morning the 29th and right now at 9.30AM the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still only showing wave height in the waist to head high class with a slightly bigger set wave hitting Middle Reef while the tide was still low. Should also be a few waves on Kuta Reef and Airport Left as more water fills in over the living coral reef.

Ketut has called in from way up the coast at the home of the long left hand wave of Medewi. He is calling waist to head high waves peeling off for 70mtrs that will only improve with more tide. Hopefully we will also see a bit more swell roll in with the tide as well, fingers crossed. Ketut said there were only 5 other surfers in the water when then pulled up in the car park, wish I would have gone with them.

I’ve also thrown up a frame grab from our free to view commercial free Impossible’s Surf Cam and it’s showing wait to head high waves on Impossible’s this morning on the lower end of the tide.

I think the best bet for waves would have to be back down at Uluwatu mixing it up with the numbers.

Weather wise outside this morning here in bali we have a mostly clear blue sky here in Tuban but we might see a little more cloud blow through through out the morning. Temperature wise right now at 9.30AM the mercury is at 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level at 78%. Wind direction is coming out of the ENE @ 3-7knot.

The next tide in Bali will be a 2.1mtr High at 1.15PM.

Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Bali, well due to the public holidays and banks shut the money changers have cut the rates down to — 1US$=Rp13,000 – 1AU$=Rp9,730 —

Traffic Traffic Traffic, I could imagine how some first timers to Bali would feel, just arriving at the airport anytime from midday on wards to spend the next 2-3 hrs in traffic to get to their hotel villa in Seminyak etc. Crazy shit with, as it seems half of Java here doing laps around Bali, not spending money just doing laps, great holiday bahahahaha
