Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in with the baliwaves (keeping it real and original since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfuing holiday destination of Bali

Ok for a change of atmosphere and pace we took a run up to the beach breaks of Legian to see how the waves and conditions were actually looking. AS it shows in our photo gallery today wave height was in the 2-3ft with an occasional bigger close out set from time to time as the tide was running down. We probably missed the best of it but there were still plenty of options along this stretch for a paddle.

Today the 6th and our 7.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to have bounced back a little. I noticed this yesterday afternoon as there were still over head high set waves peeling off out Middle Reef. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was still showing in the waist to head high plus region with fresh off shore wind out of the SE on it. Not a lot of surfers in the water at the time either.

Weather wise today we had a nice sunny start to the day but now at 12.00 noon the sky has turned over cast and grey. Temperature wise the mercury is at 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is 69%. Wind is coming out of the SE up to 15knots.

The next tide in Bali today will be a 0.5mtr KLow around 3.00PM

Swell Predictions are showing that we should see another new swell and bump in size by tomorrow afternoon and then filling in for the 8th and 9th. Just in time for the Uluwatu Boardriders Challenge finals.
