Hi surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.

Ok first up I just want to say shame on you (I’d would liked to have used harsher words really) Australian Media namely 7 and 9 news for showing photos of a smoking volcano and trying to say it was Mt Agung in Bali, more fake news and continuing their Bali Bashing news stories. FYI Mt Agung last erupted in 1963 and has been active ever since. There has been no smoke or ash billowing out of Mt Agung and lets hope it stays that way for another 54 years at least.

Alright now then, we have been trouping up and down the coast, East to West for the last few days and I do have to admit, scoring some seriously good waves. I’ve loaded up 60 -70 photos from the 16th – 17th and even a couple of digi cam photos from where we were this morning and I’m just going to let the photos do the talking. Wave height has been ranging from head to triple head high with mainly clean off shore wind or early morning glass. The tide was been perfect and there’s a still a few more days left in the window so we’ll keep making the most of these conditions while we can.

Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny and today is now different. Right now at 12.55PM the mercury is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 68%. Wind direction coming cleanly out of the SE and off shore from Kuta Reef to Uluwatu.
