As far as I know Bali’s International airport is open and most flights running as normal except for Aussie budget airlines. I did see some planes approaching for landing this morning on the East Coast. Today we had a visual on Mt Agung from Klungkung and we could not see any smoke or ash coming out of the crater, or any sign. There was some light cloud cover over the top of the crater but no dark smoke visible.

Ok so here’s another fresh photo gallery that we captured for ya’s yesterday from here on Bali’s West Coast. As expected wave height has been on the slide but yesterday there was still some fun little waves to be had and even a couple of bigger freak sets for the lucky one’s in the right place at the right time. As it shows surfing conditions were clean and tidy through the morning session with the wind coming lightly out of the North. Crowd wise there was the usual number of surfers on the right hander and only a handful riding the left.

Weather wise it was partly sunny with some late afternoon rain.

This morning the 2nd of December and we headed up the East coast looking for some waves. Arriving around 7.00AM to find one surfer in the water with 2-3ft waves peeling off. We were pretty happy but by the time we got down in front of the waves the wind was just starting to switch to the East along with the tide filling in. So we just missed it, but the lads still got in and got wet with no other surfers in sight.

Weather wise today it’s been mostly hot and sunny with some cloud moving in this afternoon. Temperature wise now at 3.00PM the mercury is on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 73%. Wind direction is out of the East at 8-12knot+

Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Bali, –1US$=Rp13,350 — 1AU$=Rp10,120 –It’s not actually good idea to use the money changers on the weekend in Bali, if you can. Better to wait until Monday if possible. As all the money changer now people are spending money on the weekends and drop their rates down 100 – 200 Rupiah then lift them up again on Mondays
