Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next hard earned tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 10th and we headed straight back to where we surfed and scored unlimited waves the previous day. We were not disappointed either with pretty much more of the same and no crowd for our first hour or so. Just as we turned up there was a big fat and black squall moving in from the SSW that turned the perfect conditions to instant mush. My crew were not happy and wondering if we should leave and go look somewhere else. But I filled them in and told them to sweat it out until this passed and it should return back to more clean off shore wind. Maybe 30 mins later we were paddling out and the waves and conditions could not have been better.
Weather wise after the storm it remained overcast with a fresh off shore WNW wind. Luckily the water was so warm making it perfect for board shorts and bikinis.
This morning the 11th and it’s still an unknown entity out there. Right now ithe time is still only 4.50AM and pitch black. There is rumor from the surf predictors calling for a solid bump in swell today so we will find out soon enough I guess. So make sure you stay tuned for more news and up dates through our Twitter and ing it perfect in board shorts.
Outside right now the temp is on 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 91% and the wind is strong out of the West at 15-17knot
Need Tide information then check out our January Tide Chart thanks to Peter Neely / Indo Surf & Lingo
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban, –1US$=Rp13,350 –1AU$=Rp10,420 –EU$=Rp16,000 As I mentioned before, usually on Monday the money exchanging vendors raise the rates to somewhere close to the normal exchange rate again after lowering them for the weekend “penalty rates” There are also still a lot of “rip off” money exchangers in Bali so be highly cautious of any exchangers offering above normal exchange rates !
