Alrightio yesterday the 2nd and as I mentioned in yesterday mornings up date we were up long before the sparrows and on route along Bali’s infamous West Coast Highway. After only being run off the road twice by crazy bus and truck drivers we pulled up at Balian around 6.30AM to be rewarded with some super clean left and right handers in the chest to well over head high class. With the in coming tide at hand it wasn’t too long and there was a solid crew of surfers in the water but still pretty easy to get a good cut of the waves. Nice and friendly Balinese staff at the “Dekis Warung” always makes your post surf brekfast a pleasure. Well worth the effort to get away and visit this coastal area of Bali, it kinda brings back that old country feel to the island.

Weather wise, hard to beat and pretty much perfect both in and out of the water.

This morning the 3rd and with wave height on the wane we thought we’d take an early run down to Uluwatu. And at 6.20AM thgere were only 2 surfers in the water, 1 on the Track and the other up at Temples. So I guess this report is actually coming live from Indonesia’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu hey. Right now at 9.00AM the tide is filling in fast and heading for a 2.4mtr High at 11.30AM. Surfer wisse right now the numbers have shifted and we have around 80 surfers in the water between Temples and the Peak. Wave height is in the waist to head high class and the best waves are hitting Temples.

Weather wise down on the bukit this morning there is some hazy cloud about but plenty of blue sky and heading fort another hot and sunny one by midday.

Also happening today up along Kuta Beach at the Half Way region there is a Chinese (REnext) surfing contest going down as I type so if your here in Bali and want to see some of Bali’s best surfers in action head down there and check it out.
