Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (bringing you that little extra piece of Bali to you since all the way back in 1999) for our latest news and the hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions. From here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright, first up welcome to the weekend and it’s all been happening surf wise over here on the island of the Gods. Our current photo gallery was shot down at Uluwatu on the 3rd and we were pretty stoked to hit Ulu for the early morning session and only find 2 other surfers with similar intentions, we rarely do sleeping in here. The tide was still low and there were a few racing down the Track but as the tide filled in Temples and the Peak started to hand out some nice little waves in the chest to slightly over head class. The crowd started arriving around 9.00AM as usual.
Yesterday the 4th and we were at it again, up early and on the road searching for waves. We ended up making a 6.00AM (late) run up the coast back to Bali looking for a little more size in the small conditions happening on the Southern end of Bali. We were stoked and scored some waves pushing the head to double head high range with clean and glassy surfing conditions through until 9.30AM. Also good to catch up with a couple of local surfers that had the same idea.
Weather wise, well don’t expect anything other than blus sky warm temperatures both in and out of the water for the next 6 months or so okay, just perfect is the best word to describe.
