Alright sorry I just didn’t have enough juice left in me to get these photos on line yesterday evening. I’ve been hammered by the Flu for the second time in the last 3 months. Please don’t come to Bali if your loaded up with the Flu go see a Dr instead and wait till your feeling better or you could infect half the island.

As our latest photo gallery shows we were down the coast and the waves were not too bad. It was average head high with some almost double head high set waves as the tide was pushing back in. Surfing conditions were pretty clean but there was a little more South in the wind just putting that bit of cross shore into the game.

Also I was pissed off to hear from our local warung host at Balangan yesterday that a Westerner / European came into their warung last week and hired 2 newish surfboards and that was the last they ever saw of the Tourist thief and their surfboards. Unfortunately they didn’t snap any photos of the thief as he said he was just going to be learning out the front of their warung with his friend.

If anyone else has heard of anything like this happening please let us know, it appears the new breed of Bali tourist is bringing some very bad elements to Bali

Today the 3rd and there’s still plenty of waves happening here in Bali. At the moment the tide is just starting to run up off the bottom of a 0.8mtr Low so if your after a wave try the better know low tide locations like Middle Reef, Balangan, Bingin, Impossible’s and the Racetrack. Or hang out in your favorite warung and let a little more tide fill in.

Just checking out the Surfline Uluwatu cam now on baliwaves and it looks like Uluwatu will be the place to be as the tide fills in a little more. You can find this live cam in our “SURFCAMS” main menue. Thanks to Surfline for permission to use their link.

Weather wise outside right now at 8.35AM we have an over cast sky left over from some over night rain. The SE-SSE Trade wind is just starting to kick in and should tidy up the waves as the morning grows.

I’ve also loaded a photo of our young grommet friend Made Widarsana who is a local surfer (KBR) at Keramas beach who we decided needed a new board as his old one had been snapped twice and in a very bad way. This is the 110th surfboard baliwaves.com has given away to a deserving grommet. Special thanks to Brian A who donated the board to us and asked us to help find someone who needed it.

The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.0mtr High at 1.17PM

Our Swell Forecast is looking rosy again with a new swell expected to stat belting into Bali sometime in the next 24hrs, more likely tomorrow the 4th and then a bigger swell out of the SSW to rolling on the back of it on the 5th. So get ready for more action here in Bali and most of Indonesia for that matter.
