Well as you probably already know there hasn’t been a lot happening in the wave department the last couple of days. Yesterday the 14th with 1-2ft waves on offer at most locations we just hung out at home and cruised down along the Legian beach breaks to see if we could get a paddle in. That’s pretty much all it was with 1-2ft waves and a strong cross / on shore wind. But there are some nice banks along the beach so finding an un crowded one isn’t too hard.

Weather wise yesterday is was bloody hot out of the water or the shade.

Today the 15th and we thought we’d go the extra yards and take our crew for a little spin up the West Coast to Balian. And I have to say even though it was only head high and clean glassy conditions it was worth the drive to be surfing in rare crystal clear water at Balian. It’s not too often as clear as it was today. Not as crowded as I thought it might be with the small waves down on the South end of the island. Not too bad for the start of another surtfing week here on the holiday island of Bali

Weather wise it was just about the same, damn hot out in the sun.
