BALI / INDONESIA
31st October 2018
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999). for our latest news and best possible views. From right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so this morning we were up early and hoping to try and get a bit of a head start on numbers at Canggu this morning. Even though we pulled up at 6.00AM we were still a bit behind the 8 ball. As it shows in our latest photo gallery there was a few solid 4 footers grinding through on the sandbar, and even the 3 footers were pretty thick. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind light off shore out of the North through until around 9.00AM. Crowd wise it’s not called Zombie land for nothing and it seemed even more busy than through the middle of the Peak season. Probably due to the low tide taking the River mouth section out of the picture. All in all some got some sweet waves and some got flogged.
Weather wise it was a really nice morning with light and variable wind along the beaches. Some cloud moved through late morning and thyen it’s been a mostly hot and sunny afternoon. This afternoon the wind went SSE-SE and has been blowing a little off shore here on the West Coast.
Tomorrow’s forecast is looking similar again to what we had today with 2-4ft waves around the island. The wind is also predicted light and variable through the morning so we will take another shot at the dawn patrol. So stay tuned for more news and up dates through our baliwaves Twitter feed (it’s better than President Trumps anyway)
