Ok so I hope everyone is getting ready for the weekend (Southern Hemisphere) seeing as though it’s Friday. Well to tell you the truth everyday is kinda like a Friday for me. You know the feeling ! you know the weekend is just around the corner, so it’s a cake walk. Well that’s how it is for me, everyday just like a Friday, and that goes for Saturday and Sunday as the internet never sleeps right and don’t take weekends off. But Fridays are always good right.

Anyway here’s a bunch of photos from where Ketut was shooting at Keramas yesterday, while I was surfing and getting waves on the head at the island. And I have to say the Island was way better and has to be in the top 3 right hand breaks in Bali. But there was still some nice waves at Keramas. Stand out surfer had to be local legend Ketut Menda who at 56yrs old still rips it up like an 18 year old. Weather conditions were over cats and grey for most of the morning making the photos dull and not as sharp as they should be.

Today the 18th and our 7.15AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left in the 2-3ft+ class. Surfing conditions were clean enough but with a slight bump caused from the cross shore Northerly wind. Tide wise it was perfect with the High happening close to 8.00AM.

So with that information Ketut decided to take a run up to Canggu (re our morning Twitter and Instagram feed) to find wave height in the 3-4ft class and some hollow lefts hitting the Sandbar section. There was only a hand full of surfers in the water early but by 9.00AM it was it’s usual busy self. Surfing conditions stayed clean and tidy until 9.30AM when the wind shifted more to the West.

Ketut got some sick photos as usual and I’ll edit some up asap and share them with you guys.

Weather wise there was some early morning cloud cover that cleared away to leave a mostly sunny Friday. Right now at 3.00PM the temperature is still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is around 75%. The wind seems to have backed off and gone variable from the Northern quad.

Tomorrows surf forecast is showing for another slight drop in wave height but there should still be plenty of waves on offer. The wind looks like it’s going to be coming out of the N-NW for the morning session.
