BALI SURF REPORT, Day 3 of perfect rights 9th – 10th April 2019

Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you up to date with Bali’s surfing scene since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.

Yesterday the 9th and we managed to score some nice waves with super clean conditions and a nice mellow crew in the water. Wave height was ranging in the head to double head high plus range with maybe a few triple head high sets around the top of the midday tide. As it shows in our latest photo gallery it was just as good as it looks. My bad I was just too tired after a long day of surfing and driving to get this loaded yesty arvo.

Today the 10th and we had to go back there again this morning. Pretty much driven by perfect conditions that were dictating it. There were some folk calling for massive waves today but we stuck with our own forecast and that’s just about what went down, head to double head high waves with a couple of bigger freak sets to watch out for.

Weather wise it’s been a very hot and sunny day today here on the holiday island. Right now at 2.35PM the temperature is on 32 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is coming light on shore out of the South. Next week starting Monday if forecasts stay on track we should see the start of “Dry Season 2019” commence and the start of our favored ESE-SE Trade Wind.

Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to be settling down and starting to back off through out the day. You should still find waves ranging from head to double head high depending on location. Swell direction is still coming from the SSW. Expect light and variable wind along with an early morning low tide, choose your location accordingly I say.

Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban, — 1AU$=Rp9.975 — Didn’t have time to check out other rates, I was driving.
