BALI / INDONESIA
20th – 21st May 2019
Hello surfers and thanks again for tuning into the baliwaves (keeping Bali surf reports real since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 20th and we had a pretty good day all round. Starting off with some peeling 3-5 footers with only hand full of us on it. Then driving up to Keramas to catch a few heats of the Corona Bali Protected WSL event and even catching Kelly Slater in the water smashing the shit of Keramas. Then a couple a beers with my fishing bro’s down the beach before a sick seafood BBQ back at the ranch with my crew, seriously good day !
Here’s a few photos of the heats we sat through, some seriously good surfing going down by some of the Worlds best surfers. I also shot some video footage of these heats so stand by for a quick edited clip as soon as I get a chance.
Today the 21st and we blazed a trail back up the West Coast know that wave height was dying fast yesterday afternoon. Balian was the go with wave height in the 2-4ft class and clean glassy conditions through until 9.00AM. Crowd wise it was a bit busy but that happens from time to time.
Tomorrow’s looking similar to today so we’ll make the call where to head in the morning. Stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more news and info via our Twitter (Bali Morning Surf n Weather Report)
Further out it’s looking like we should get a nice new swell hitting Bali and most of Indonesia late on the 23rd and 24th.
