BALI / INDONESIA
1st – 2nd May 2019
Hi peeps and welcome back to your baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright then yesterday morning on the 1st of May my team hit the road South down to Indonesia’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. AS it shows in out latest photo gallery on site wave height was in the chest to well over head class, as always plenty of power on offer even when it’s small. Surfing conditions were pretty much clean and glassy for most of the morning with the wind light and variable down on the bukit. Crowd wise there were plenty of takers but the waves were consistent enough to handle the numbers.
Weather wise it was mostly hot and sunny with the midday temperature easily over 30 degree’s Celsius.
Today the 2nd and it’s still too early for a surf check, just gone 5.25AM but you know we will be back out there again on the hunt soon enough. So make sure you tune into our Bali Morning Surf n Weather reports via our Twitter and Instagram feed (@baliwaves)
Surf Forecast for today is saying to expect slightly smaller waves this morning with a new swell starting to show later this afternoon. Wind will be light and variable for the early morning session before switching to the SE-SSE.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.3mtr High at 8.52am
Looks like there is a lot of sand in the cave mate. Big rock in the middle nearly covered.
