BALI / INDONESIA
2nd June 2019
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report since back in 1999) Make sure you keep on reading for more information on cheap surfers accommodation, surf, tide and weather info, discounts into G-Land and lots of other stuff.
Well this mornings 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing a slight improvement in size but still only in the waist to head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The ESE Tradewind was already winding up to 10km/h. We were hoping to see a little more size coming through and had the feeling that it might show a little more towards the top on the morning High tide.
So I got Mr Ketut to take a run up to one of the more popular and consistent banks along the Legian beach stretch that I know can hold a little more size. Not too mention that there is always some local surfers ripping it up and make our job a bit more enjoyable at the same time. So as it shows in our latest photo gallery wave height did bump a little more with some nice 4ft set waves. Surfing conditions were clean as can be with plenty of East in the ESE off shore wind.
Weather wise today it’s been partly sunny cloudy and right now at 4.20pm the temperature is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 80% and UV index on 1. Wind direction has been pretty well clean out of the E-ESE all day with gusts up to 30km/h.
Tomorrow’s surf outlook is for similar size waves but with a slightly stronger period and a little more South in the direction. The wind will be a touch lighter for the early session before hitting gusts up to 30km/k by midday.
