BALI / INDONESIA
26th August 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
So this morning we set off in the dark again, as always hoping to score some good waves with not so many others in the water. We headed East with the forecasts calling light and variable wind the night before. But by the time we were over there we could see the wind had already started to puff out of the East, bad information. But we kept going and as it shows in this latest photo gallery of ours it didn’t work out too bad. Wave height was in the 3-4ft class with some occasional bigger double head high set waves. Surfing conditions were smooth enough and the crowd not so bad at 15 in total.
Weather wise it’s been a real winters day here in Bali, 100% overcast from dawn and now at 3.20pm it’s still looking gloomy outside.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling for a slight drop in wave height and more light and variable wind early before the ESE Trade wind kicks in around mid morning. Sounds familiar I know so we’ll just wait and see how it pans out. So stay tuned for more news and info through out the morning.
