BALI / INDONESIA
11th -12th September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 11th and with a nice 4-6ft swell running here on Bali’s West Coast we made our way down to the Southern end of the island. As it reflects in our latest photo gallery the sun was out and the waves were cranking through super consistently. I’ve actually never seen this place so perfect as usually 19 out of 20 waves are usually just close outs as most of us know, but not yesterday my friends. There were boards broken and skin left on the reef but all in all it was another amazing session here in Bali.
Today the 12th and our 7.30am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still showing some swell out there. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airports was easily in the chest to well over head high class. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the ESE Trade wind already starting up. With the High tide just after 9.00AM this morning there were no shortage of surfers in the water.
Weather wise today it’s been a mostly sunny day here in the South Kuta region with some cloud moving through randomley. Temperature wise right now at 11.30am the mercury is sitting on a warm 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 59% and UV index on 4. Wind direction is fresh out of the SE-SSE at 25 km/h.
The next tide today will be a 0.3mtr Low at 3.23pm.
We also have a Full Moon rising on the 14th just in time for a new swell that is predicted for Bali so get ready for some solid tidal ranges coming up.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying to expect similar sized waves and similar wind strength and direction again.

Our Surf Fitness Guru Mr Clive Rodell has also sent us through another very interesting feature. Especially worth a read if your a mature aged surfer, so check it out.
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar (acoustic or electric), base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
