BALI / INDONESIA
13th September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
This morning the 13th (Friday) knowing there wasn’t going to be a hell of a lot of swell on offer we took a run down to Indonesia’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. As it shows in our latest photo gallery wave height was still only in the 2-4ft range with clean and tidy surfing conditions. Even though the wind tend a bit to the SSE for a short while it was mainly coming out of the ESE-SE for the most of the day. Crowd wise the early session was the way to go with madness and mayhem in the line up by 10.00am.
Weather wise today would be best described as “murderess” early morning rain that never really cleared away before more squalls hit us on the Southern end of the island. It was too dark to shoot photos even at 8.30am. Right now at 2.25pm it’s a whole different Bali here in South Kuta. Blue sky with the temp on 29C, Humidity is 63% and the UV index on 3. The wind is SE-SSE with gusts up to 30km/h.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling for similar sized waves again through the morning with a new swell that should start to bump up the size through the late afternoon. Wind should be a light ESE early before turning more to the SE by late morning.

Alright then enjoy the rest of your day where ever you might be, it just happens to be Friday afternoon here in Bali and an excellent time for an afternoon beverage.
Our Surf Fitness Guru Mr Clive Rodell has also sent us through another very interesting feature. Especially worth a read if your a mature aged surfer, so check it out.
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
