BALI / INDONESIA
18th – 19th September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright so yesterday morning we ended up opting to get away from the crowds and head over to the East Coast where we ended up surfing some 3-4ft waves with around 10 other surfers. Surfing conditions were not too bad, staying clean and glassy through until I hit the water at 8.30am. But our crew was happy and had a good hour in the water without me spoiling their fun.
Today the 19th and knowing that wave height was fading out on us we headed up the coast to our swell magnet location. Arriving around 7.45am to find wave height (as it shows) almost hitting the double head high mark. We were again lucky only having to deal with another minimal crew in the line up with us. Like yesterday surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until around 9.00am.
Weather wise today it’s been a mostly hot and sunny one here on the holiday island and right now at 4.15pm the temperature is still a warm 27 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is ESE-SE with gusts up to 22 km/h.
Tomorrows surf forecast is showing pretty much the same conditions as today and the wind is going to also pretty well do the same as it did today.
I’ve also been told to let all the surfer / fishermen tuning in that our Bali sport fishing scene is really starting to heat up with some excellent catches of GT’s and Spaniards.
We would like to start offering all our viewers a 50% discount into G-Land staying at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp (pay for 3 days and we’ll get you 6 days) Contact us first and score this deal.
Our Surf Fitness Guru Mr Clive Rodell has also sent us through another very interesting feature. Especially worth a read if your a mature aged surfer, so check it out.
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop po at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
