BALI / INDONESIA
1st – 2nd September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so Spring has sprung as we move into another new month of surf and fun here in Bali. Here’s another photo gallery loaded from where we were having fun on the 1st. Wave height as it shows was mainly in the chest to slightly over head class but every now and then some much better sized set waves would roll through. Surfing conditions were clean as can be with the ESE Trade wind kicking in pretty early in the morning. Low crowd levels for the early birds before the mid morning crews arrived.
Yesterday morning the 2nd and we knew wave height was going to be a lot bigger so we took off early for another “up the coast” run. Paying good dividends pulling into the car park to see head to double head high waves peeling off for up to 400mtrs. The tide was still low ish but on the make so numbers were low but as it filled in it did start to get dangerous. Not from the waves or the rocks but from learners on long boards out in the line up.
Weather wise it’s been perfect with nothing but blue sky for the start of Spring. Midday temperatures in the high 20’s on the Celsius scale is the normal for this time of the year. But I do have to say the the water temp has been a lot cooler in the Uluwatu to Kuta range.
Today the 3rd and I’m figuring that wave height should still be respectable this morning before we get another swell injection later this afternoon and into tomorrow. Stay tuned for our Bali morning surf & weather report via our Twitter feed on site later this morning for more news and info as it happens.

Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
