BALI / INDONESIA
2nd – 3rd September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright then here’s our photo gallery (2nd Sept) from where we were up the coast and into some super long fun lefts. As it shows wave height was getting up into the double head high class with clean and glassy surfing conditions, some long rides up to 300mtrs plus. Low crowds on the morning low tide but as can be expected at most locations around the island this day and age a lot more crowded as the tide fills in and the un aware learners enter the water.
If anyone is thinking about spending some quality time at Medewi then your best option for space and comfort in a real resort atmosphere has to be at the Umadewi Surf & Suites located right in front of the waves.
The 3rd and it was another top day here in Bali with more double head high waves and clean and very tidy off shore wind. Our team made the most of it paddling out with only 2 other surfers in the line up and wave height in the head to double head high plus class, on the lower end of the tide. Some long leg camping waves on offer if you happened to be in the right slot at the right time. Super slick conditions with a nice off shore wind.
Today the 4th and it’s a bit early just yet for a surf check as it’s only 4.00am but it won’t be long and we will be throwing the boards on the roof and heading out to find out. Today’s surf forecast is predicting a new swell and a lot more size to hit us here in Bali and G-Land so it will be interesting to see what we find. So stay tuned for more Twitter / Instagram up dates through out the morning.
The next tide today will be a 0.5mtr Low at 7.04am
Weather wise more perfect Spring weather here in Bali.

Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
