BALI / INDONESIA
4th – 5th September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Yesterday the 4th and we took a lazy drive over to the East side of Bali and found a few fun sized waves to keep everyone happy and sedate. As it shows in our latest photo gallery wave height was only in the shoulder to head high plus range and conditions were clean and glassy. Crowd wise it wasn’t an issue with only a dozen or so surfers in the water. Nice waves, good company and some great views always makes a great day here in Bali.
Weather wise it was faultless with that perfect Bali blue sky all day. temperature wise the mercury was up in the late 20’s on the Celsius scale.
Today the 5th and as it tells in my daily Twitter Feed, Bali morning surf n weather report. My 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing solid swell still showing with 4-6ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still pouring out so it was pretty well un surf able at the time and I think unless it drops off hard on the rising tide it’s not going to be really worth the effort, but you never know.
Weather wise out side right now at 11.00am the temperature is sitting on a warm 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 73% and the UV index is at 7. Wind direction is coming out of the ESE with gusts up to 30km/h.
The next tide today will be a 1.9mtr High at 1.44pm.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is showing wave height to be backing off through out the day. But I think an afternoon visual is going to be a must with some inacuracies on just about all the surf forecast websites over the last week. It’s a bit late to make last minute amendments I think.
Further out it’s looking like wave height will continue to drop off through until the next swell system moves into play on the 10th – 11th with more moderate sized waves predicted.

Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
