BALI / INDONESIA
6th – 7th September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Hey so on the 6th with just the right amount of swell hitting the West Coast our crew set off an hour before the dawn and made our way back up infamous West Coast Bali / Java highway. Arriving on location at 7.30am to find a nice sized head to well over head high waves. Surfing conditions were still clean with the last of the morning off shore starting to glass off. We also coincided with the Low tide to help keep the push in learners at bay and waiting on the shore for more water over the rocky bottom. Not a bad as always up at this place and finishing off with a delicious Balinese lunch at the Umadewi Surf & suites Resort over looking the waves was a fitting mornings end.
Today the 7th and this time we headed down towards the Southern end of the island and was lucky enough to score some nicely peeling off chest to over head high waves. Surfing conditions were perfect with the ESE Trade wind blowing straight off shore and the early morning Low tide again keeping the learners in the water to a bare minimum of zero.
Weather wise today it’s been a bit of a funny old day starting off over cast and grey then changing to hot and lots of blue sky before reverting back to cloudy and even a few drops of rain on the way home from the bukit. But still the temperature has not gone under 27 degree’s Celsius.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for another slight drop in wave height but I think I know a spot that might have a few waves for us. So make sure you stay tuned to the baliwaves on Twitter and Insta for more news and up dates tomorrow morning.

Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
